Our Vision...

What do we do here? We provide livable wage jobs to community driven bike advocates.  We are people that love bicycles. We repair them. We promote the culture of riding them. We fix them. We work with institutions to create shareable systems for them.

Our values are similar to that of all Cooperatives. We promote equality, democracy, self-responsibility, and solidarity. At Workers Transport we believe in community building, self-actuation through labor, and of course bicycle culture.

Workers Transport’s vision to provide a range of bicycle services that not only help promote the benefit of the industry, but also create livable wage jobs for bicycle-centric people. We can create a company that’s direction and goals are embedded into the community.

In a world that is dominated by the gig economy. Too few employment opportunities arise that empower individuals to seize the means of their own labor. This could not be more true in the bicycle service industry. Most company’s exploit their workers through various ways, offering small wages and long hours. In the coop model, Worker-owners have much more incentive to the success of the company because the profits of their labor shared equitably.
